Fames Transport has just signed a deal with samsara to equip every truck with dash cams and a gateway. With latest GPS system by Samsara which offers real-time GPS, sensor data, equipment diagnostic, driver behavior, and live feedback of our drivers, and equipment. Our GPS system let us know precisely where our drivers are, when they get to their destination, driver’s miles and time, as well as their speed. We have dash cameras in our trucks that offer near-instant uploads of HD video clips and still images, providing our supervisors with real-time context of driving and safety. Fames used to use physical hand written time cards but with samsara’s log book/hours of service program we can finally remove the time card and enter a new and efficient way to pay our drivers.
